The MDPV rapid test is a drug test strip that can detect the consumption of MDPV (methylenedioxypyrovalerone) by means of a urine sample.

Methylenedioxypyrovalerone (MDPV) is a psychotropic substance. It acts as a norepinephrine-dopamine reuptake inhibitor and is one of the so-called „designer drugs“ (Research Chemicals). MDPV is best known in the scene under the name „bath salts“ and is therefore offered on the Internet as supposed bath salts in camouflaged form. However, MDPV is also often used as an extender in ecstasy pills as well as in cocaine powder. This results in 2 different types of consumption: On the one hand, those who actively procure and consume this illegal drug and on the other hand, those who unknowingly consume the drug by enriching the alleged substance with MDPV as an extender.
Effect of MDPV
MDPV has a stimulating effect and, in addition to an increase in performance, also leads to strong euphoria, increased urge to communicate and altered sensory perceptions.
Short-term effects of MDPV consumption
An increase in the heartbeat, palpitations, accompanied by an oppressive feeling in the heart area and increased blood pressure are among the symptoms of direct MDPV consumption. The drug increases alertness and lowers fatigue. Restlessness, nervous behaviour and hyperactivity occur. Likewise, the need for sleep and food is suppressed.
The effect lasts about three to four hours, depending on the dosage. According to consumer reports, an overdose can also lead to delusions, panic attacks and paranoia. The need for craving is there, but the strong side effects limit this need.
Procedure MDPV test:
Remove the MDPV drug test from the packaging and dip the test strip into the urine for about 15 seconds. Then place the test strip in a dry place and wait for the test result, which can be read after about 3 minutes.
