Ketamine Test: With the Ketamine (KET) drug test strip , the consumption of ketamine can be detected by means of a urine sample. Ketamine is an anesthetic. As an intoxicant, ketamine is either snorted through the nose in the form of a white powder with the help of a tube, or the crystals are smoked or injected as a liquid using a syringe.
Ketamine rapid test procedure:
Remove the ketamine test strip from the packaging and dip it into the urine for about 15 seconds. Then place the ketamine test strip in a dry place and wait for the test result, which can be read after about 3 minutes.
Please refer to the package leaflet for the exact procedure.
Additional information about the ketamine drug test:
Sensitivity (cut-off): 1000 ng/ml
Duration of detection: approx. 1 – 4 days
Interesting facts about ketamine:
Ketamine is a synthetic anesthetic used in human and veterinary medicine. However, it is also abused as a party drug. Here are some important aspects to consider in the context of ketamine drug use:
Anesthetic: Ketamine was originally developed for medical purposes and is still used as an anesthetic in human and veterinary medicine, especially in emergency medicine and veterinary medicine.
Dissociative hallucinogen: At low doses, ketamine often acts as a dissociative hallucinogen that can lead to a feeling of alienation from the environment and one’s own body. This leads to hallucinations and altered consciousness.
Potential for abuse: Ketamine has a significant potential for abuse. People who consume it can become psychologically and physically dependent.
Risks: The abuse of ketamine can lead to serious health problems, including memory problems, impaired coordination, high blood pressure, cardiac arrhythmias, and mental health problems.
Risk of overdose: An overdose of ketamine can lead to respiratory depression, loss of consciousness, and even death.
K-Hole: The term „K-hole“ refers to an intense, dissociative state that can occur when a high dose of ketamine is consumed. In this state, strong hallucinations and disorientation can be experienced.
Legal and illegal use: Ketamine is available on prescription in most countries and illegal use is punishable by law. Nevertheless, it is often sold on the black market.
In summary, ketamine is a potent anesthetic used in medicine, but it can be extremely dangerous due to its potential for abuse and serious health risks if used improperly. The illegal use of ketamine as a party drug or to achieve dissociative conditions is widespread and requires education about the risks as well as preventive measures to protect health and safety.
