Instructions for carrying out urine drug test:
Sampling
They need a clean and dry container to take their urine. Disposable plastic cups are very suitable for this. The test should be done in clear urine. It is therefore advisable to use the central beam. Midstream urine is when you stop the stream after a few seconds and only collect the middle part of the urine in a cup.
Storage
It doesn’t matter if they use fresh or already stored urine for the test. In the case of stored urine, it is important to note that the urine must be stored in the refrigerator at approx. 3 – 7 degrees for up to 48 hours before use. If the test is carried out at a later time (>48 hours), the urine must be frozen. (-18 degrees) When thawing, make sure that the frozen urine has been completely thawed and well mixed before the test.
Perform a drug test
For the test, the urine must be at room temperature.
- Take the test out of the packaging
- Dip the test strip or the multitester into the urine sample in the direction of the arrow
- Leave the tester in ruin for at least 10 seconds before removing it
- Place the test on a dry and clean surface (e.g. on a paper towel) and wait about 5 minutes.
