A breath alcohol test reacts to alcohol in the exhaled air and is particularly practical when you want to check quickly whether alcohol is currently detectable. A saliva test offers a simple alternative without a device and with visual evaluation. The EtG urine test, on the other hand, detects ethyl glucuronide – a breakdown marker of alcohol – and may be useful, depending on the situation, for a longer retrospective indication.
For questions covering a significantly longer period of time, a hair analysis for alcohol markers may be the more suitable method. All tests are intended for indicative assessment only and do not replace officially calibrated measuring devices or legally binding analyses.
